Wael M. Hesham

Wael M. Hesham is Regional Contracts Head at Saudi Firmness, where he leads contractual and commer cial governance across the group and its affiliates, on frameworks aligned with FIDIC principles. He has about ten years in construction and oil and gas contracts, on the contractor, consultant and employer side, including PETROJET, Elsewedy Industries, Arabian Construction Company, Siemens Energy, Egyptian Re fining Company and Mace.

His work covers the contract lifecycle the course teaches: tender and award, instructions and variations, notices and claims, payment, taking-over and close-out. He’s currently an LLM candidate at Robert Gordon University, holds an MBA, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP). He is an Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and of the Association for Project Management.
